1SCOPE

This Privacy Policy applies to SideKix websites, web applications and browser-based desktop experiences, mobile applications, Kix, Journey Maps, Discovery and Self Discovery, Community features, Advisor features, events, customer support, communications, and other SideKix services that link to this Privacy Policy (collectively, the "Services").

Certain features may launch at different times. This Policy applies to a feature when that feature is made available.

2INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Depending on how you use the Services, SideKix may collect:

• Account and profile information, such as name, email address, username, authentication information, profile details, avatar or profile image, preferences, and account settings.
• Kix and AI interaction information, such as prompts, messages, voice inputs, transcripts, responses, feedback, Journey Map information, goals, milestones, and related context.
• Discovery and Self Discovery information, such as assessment responses, reflections, scores, preferences, learning activity, progress, and generated insights.
• Community information, such as posts, comments, reactions, room participation, reports, messages, group or Squad participation, and other user-generated content.
• Advisor and appointment information, such as booking details, communications, session information, notes where applicable, ratings, reviews, and transaction information.
• Event information, such as registrations, attendance, event preferences, accessibility requests, event communications, and authorized recordings or photographs.
• Transaction information, such as subscription status, purchases, Kix Credit activity, transaction identifiers, and limited payment-related information. Payment card details may be processed directly by payment providers rather than stored by SideKix.
• Support and communications information, including support requests, surveys, feedback, emails, and other communications with SideKix.
• Device, technical, and usage information, such as IP address, browser or device type, operating system, app version, device or app identifiers, session data, logs, crash information, diagnostics, security events, referral information, and interactions with the Services.
• Information from permissions you choose to grant, such as microphone, camera, photos or files, notifications, contacts, or location, but only when relevant to an enabled feature and subject to applicable device controls.
• Information from partners or third parties, where permitted, such as authentication providers, payment providers, Advisors, event partners, analytics providers, referral partners, or service providers.

3HOW WE COLLECT INFORMATION

We collect information when you provide it directly, use or interact with the Services, communicate with Kix or other users, complete assessments, book or attend services or events, make purchases, contact support, grant device permissions, or otherwise use SideKix.

We may also receive information automatically through cookies, SDKs, logs, pixels, local storage, device identifiers, analytics technologies, and similar technologies as described in the SideKix Cookies & Tracking Technologies Policy.

Where required, SideKix will provide additional notice or request consent at or before collection.

4HOW WE USE INFORMATION

SideKix may use information to:

• provide, operate, personalize, and maintain the Services;
• create and manage accounts and authenticate users;
• provide Kix conversations, voice experiences, AI outputs, Journey Maps, recommendations, and personalization;
• provide Discovery, assessments, training, Community, Advisor, event, and support functionality;
• process transactions and administer Kix Credits;
• remember preferences and maintain continuity across authorized experiences;
• communicate about accounts, appointments, events, security, product changes, and support;
• send marketing communications or promotional notifications where permitted and subject to applicable choices;
• protect users, investigate abuse, prevent fraud, enforce policies, and maintain security;
• diagnose errors, monitor performance, analyze use, and improve the Services;
• develop, test, evaluate, and improve SideKix features, models, systems, content, and safety measures as permitted by this Policy, applicable notices, user controls, contracts, and law;
• comply with legal obligations and protect rights, safety, and property; and
• perform other purposes disclosed at collection or with consent where required.

5KIX, VOICE, TRANSCRIPTS AND AI PROCESSING

Kix and other AI features may process information you submit or make available through the Services in order to understand requests, generate responses, personalize experiences, build or update Journey Maps, recommend next steps, and provide related functionality.

Voice experiences may involve several distinct processing activities:

• Microphone access. SideKix accesses the microphone only when permitted by the device and relevant to a voice feature.
• Voice processing. Audio may be transmitted or processed to recognize speech, enable a conversation, detect turn-taking, or provide a response.
• Transcription. Spoken content may be converted into text.
• Conversation data. Transcripts, prompts, responses, summaries, memories, or related context may be processed to provide continuity and personalization where enabled.
• Service providers. Authorized AI, speech, infrastructure, storage, safety, analytics, or other technology providers may process information on SideKix's behalf to provide these functions.

Granting microphone permission is not, by itself, consent to every possible secondary use of audio or transcripts. SideKix will provide additional notice or controls where required for materially different uses.

6AI AND PRODUCT IMPROVEMENT

SideKix may use information to evaluate, secure, debug, and improve its Services, subject to applicable law, contractual restrictions, and user notices or controls.

Where SideKix uses de-identified or aggregated information, it will take reasonable measures designed to prevent the information from being associated with an identifiable individual where required by law.

If SideKix offers a setting or consent choice concerning use of identifiable conversations, voice data, assessments, or other content for AI or model improvement, SideKix will honor that choice as described when the choice is presented.

SideKix does not sell user conversations to third parties for their independent external AI training.

7DEVICE PERMISSIONS

Certain features may request access to device capabilities or information. SideKix will request permissions in context and only when relevant to a feature.

Permissions may include:

• Microphone, for Kix voice conversations, calls, or other audio features.
• Camera, for video calls, profile or content capture, or other camera-enabled features.
• Photos or files, when you choose to upload, save, select, or share media or documents.
• Notifications, for reminders, messages, appointments, events, Journey activity, security alerts, and optional marketing where separately permitted.
• Contacts, only if SideKix introduces a feature that requires or benefits from contact selection or invitations. SideKix uses minimum-scope system pickers where reasonably available instead of broad address-book access.
• Location, only if SideKix introduces location-dependent functionality. SideKix requests the minimum level of location precision reasonably needed for the feature.

You can generally deny or later revoke device permissions through your operating-system settings. Some features may not function if a permission necessary for that feature is denied. SideKix will not require unrelated permissions merely to access unrelated functionality.

8PUSH NOTIFICATIONS AND COMMUNICATION PREFERENCES

If you allow notifications, SideKix may send functional notifications relating to the Services, such as account or security notices, Kix or Journey reminders, Advisor appointments, messages, Community activity, event updates, or other requested functionality.

SideKix may also offer promotional or marketing push notifications. Where required, SideKix will obtain the appropriate opt-in before sending promotional push notifications and will provide an in-app method to turn those notifications off.

As features become available, SideKix may provide notification preferences by category, such as:

• Kix and Journey;
• Advisors and appointments;
• Community;
• Events;
• Account and Security; and
• SideKix Updates and Offers.

System-level notification permission can also be changed through device settings. Certain important non-marketing communications may still be sent by email or other permitted channels when necessary to administer an account, transaction, security matter, or legal notice.

9COOKIES AND TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES

SideKix may use cookies, SDKs, pixels, local storage, device identifiers, analytics, attribution, crash reporting, and similar technologies. Details and available controls are described in the SideKix Cookies & Tracking Technologies Policy.

Where applicable law requires consent or an opt-out for particular tracking or advertising practices, SideKix will provide the required controls and recognize qualifying opt-out preference signals where required.

10HOW WE DISCLOSE INFORMATION

SideKix may disclose information to:

• service providers and processors that support hosting, cloud infrastructure, AI, speech processing, authentication, security, communications, analytics, customer support, payments, scheduling, storage, and other platform operations;
• Advisors or other users when necessary for a feature you choose to use;
• event organizers, venues, partners, or service providers where necessary for an event or service you request;
• professional advisors, auditors, insurers, and other business support providers subject to appropriate obligations;
• government authorities, courts, law enforcement, or other parties when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, security, or the integrity of the Services;
• parties involved in a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or similar corporate transaction, subject to applicable law; and
• other parties at your direction or with your consent.

SideKix does not disclose personal information to third parties merely because they are sponsors or advertisers unless disclosure is described to the user, permitted by this Policy, or otherwise authorized by law or consent.

11THIRD-PARTY AI AND TECHNOLOGY PROVIDERS

SideKix may use third-party AI models, speech providers, cloud platforms, analytics tools, communications providers, and other technology services.

SideKix is responsible for making its own disclosures about the information it sends to those providers and for using providers in a manner consistent with applicable contractual and legal requirements.

Providers may change as SideKix's technology evolves. Material categories of recipients and processing will be reflected in this Policy, applicable notices, or other privacy disclosures.

12PAYMENTS

Payment transactions may be processed by third-party payment processors, app stores, or billing providers. Those providers may collect payment information directly and process it under their own terms and privacy notices.

SideKix may receive transaction identifiers, payment status, subscription information, limited billing details, or other information necessary to administer purchases, refunds, subscriptions, and Kix Credits.

13COMMUNITY AND USER-GENERATED CONTENT

Information you choose to post or share in Community areas may be visible to other users according to the audience and settings of the applicable feature.

Users may use usernames and avatars where permitted. Advisors may be subject to verified-identity requirements under applicable SideKix policies.

Do not post information you do not want shared with the applicable audience. SideKix may process Community content and reports for moderation, safety, policy enforcement, support, and operation of Community features.

14ADVISORS

When you book or interact with an Advisor, SideKix may share information reasonably necessary to facilitate the relationship, such as your name or username, booking details, relevant messages, goals or context you choose to share, and other information needed to provide the requested service.

Advisor handling of information is also subject to applicable SideKix Advisor agreements and policies. Advisors may not use SideKix-provided information for unauthorized solicitation, exploitation, or unrelated purposes.

15EVENTS, RECORDINGS AND MEDIA

SideKix may process registration, attendance, accessibility, communication, and transaction information for events.

Events may involve photography, video, audio, livestreaming, or other recording. SideKix will provide notices or obtain additional permissions where required by law or appropriate to the type of recording. Featured speakers, interview subjects, testimonials, or principal promotional subjects may be asked to sign separate releases.

16DATA RETENTION

SideKix retains personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to provide the Services, maintain account continuity, complete transactions, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud or abuse, maintain security, and exercise or defend legal claims.

Retention periods vary based on the type of information, feature, user choices, legal requirements, and operational need.

When information is no longer reasonably necessary, SideKix may delete, de-identify, or aggregate it, subject to applicable law and legitimate retention requirements.

17ACCOUNT AND DATA DELETION

Users may request deletion of their SideKix account through the in-app account settings or another deletion method made available by SideKix.

SideKix will delete or de-identify personal information associated with a deleted account as required by applicable law and platform requirements, except information SideKix is permitted or required to retain for purposes such as legal compliance, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, transaction records, or enforcement of agreements.

Deletion of an account is different from cancellation of a subscription. Users should review applicable subscription or app-store billing requirements before deleting an account.

SideKix will also maintain an external web method for requesting account deletion where required by applicable platform rules.

If deletion requires time to complete, SideKix may provide information about the expected process and any information that must be retained.

18YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS AND CHOICES

Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may have rights concerning personal information, such as rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, or information about processing, and rights to opt out of certain uses or disclosures.

Where applicable, SideKix may provide mechanisms such as "Your Privacy Choices" or "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" and may recognize qualifying browser-based opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control.

SideKix may need to verify a request before fulfilling it. Authorized agents may be permitted where required by law.

SideKix will not unlawfully discriminate against a user for exercising applicable privacy rights.

19MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS

You may opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe mechanism included in the message or applicable account settings.

You may control promotional push notifications through SideKix notification settings where available and through device settings.

Opting out of marketing does not prevent SideKix from sending non-promotional communications that are reasonably necessary for accounts, security, transactions, appointments, events, legal notices, or requested services.

20SECURITY

SideKix uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No system can be guaranteed completely secure, and SideKix cannot guarantee that unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure will never occur.

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their credentials and should notify SideKix of suspected unauthorized account activity.

21CHILDREN AND AGE REQUIREMENTS

The Services are subject to the age requirements stated in the SideKix Terms of Use. SideKix does not knowingly collect personal information from children in a manner prohibited by applicable law.

If SideKix introduces services directed to children or younger users, it may provide additional notices, consent mechanisms, safety controls, and privacy protections.

22UNITED STATES SERVICE AND STATE-SPECIFIC RIGHTS

SideKix's current Services are intended for the United States unless SideKix expressly states otherwise.

Certain U.S. states provide residents with additional privacy rights. Where a state privacy law applies to SideKix and a particular processing activity, SideKix will honor the rights and disclosures required by that law.

SideKix may update this section or provide supplemental state notices as its operations, legal obligations, or geographic availability change.

23THIRD-PARTY LINKS AND SERVICES

The Services may link to or integrate third-party websites, platforms, tools, or services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices, except to the extent SideKix controls the relevant processing.

Users should review third-party privacy practices before providing information directly to those services.

24CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

SideKix may update this Privacy Policy as the Services, technologies, business practices, and legal requirements evolve.

The Last Updated date identifies the current version. SideKix will provide additional notice of material changes where required by law.
